DYSolar, a Grenz Electrical brand, leads the system design and sale. Grenz Electrical is the installation company responsible for site verification, roof and electrical work, commissioning and certification. Aftercare is coordinated between both names.
What is included
Panel count is only one part of the installation. Roof condition, access, cable routes, switchboard integration, protection, settings and documentation all affect the finished result.
The mounting layout and cable support are completed around the actual roof, exposure, access and drainage paths.
Equipment is positioned and connected with access, protection, heat, future service and the building’s power use in mind.
The system is tested, configured and documented so the customer understands what was installed and how it operates.
From first look to handover
DYSolar owns the energy discussion, proposal and system design. Grenz Electrical owns the physical installation work on site. The handover and aftercare remain connected.
DYSolar reviews the customer’s energy use, shapes the system and provides the proposal and equipment selection.
Grenz Electrical verifies the site and completes the roof, electrical, switchboard and equipment installation.
Testing, certification and handover are completed, with future support coordinated between the two names.

For a new solar or battery proposal, DYSolar is the dedicated design and sales side of the Grenz Electrical business. Once the design is ready, Grenz Electrical completes all on-site installation work.
Service area
Our team is based in Christchurch and completes installation and inspection work throughout Canterbury and across the wider South Island. Project location, access, programme and scope are considered before we confirm attendance.
